It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvonne "Bonnie" Maestas, a kind and strong woman, on August 14, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many with her warmth and compassion.

She is preceded in death by her mother Fela and father Gillie. Yvonne is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, Anthony Maestas; her loving children, Andrew, Michelle and her partner (Ashley); two stepchildren Leondra and husband (Monico) and Antoinette and partner (Tanya); five cherished grandchildren; two precious great- grandchildren; brother Michael Chavez and wife (Yolanda); two sisters, Katherine and husband (Petro), Susan and late husband (Michael). Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through her family and all who knew her.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 301 Stover Ave. SW, 87102, on September 21,2024 at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and pay their respects. There will be a reception at the Hall after the services.
