William Joseph Sullivan, "Bill", passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the age of 93. He was born on May 16, 1931 in Newport, RI and was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.  He was a graduate of Providence College and Georgetown Law School. He served in the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant and was stationed in Germany for two years. A resident of Albuquerque since the early 1960's, Bill practiced law and proudly served as a past President of the Albuquerque Bar Association.  He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Kay Sullivan; his son, Patrick Sullivan and wife Cori; daughter, Bridget Self and husband Paul; as well as five grandchildren, Jack, Ben, Emma, Tyler and Brenna. Bill enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, playing golf with friends, and watching college basketball. He will be remembered as a man of strong faith as well as a loving, generous, and dedicated husband and father. Funeral services will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 1:30pm with US Army Honors.
