William B. Calderon "Bill" was born June 2, 1940 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and passed away om Saturday, September 23, 2023.

Bill spent most of work life performing public service to jobs for state, county and city government agencies. He will be remembered as a loving brother, father, grandfather and for being an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.

Bill was an active member at the Knights of Columbus, the North Valley Senior Center and St. Therese Catholic Church. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Bill proudly earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of New Mexico and retired from the New Mexico Department of Labor after 20 years of service. Bill firmly believed in the benefit of a good education and would let others know, in his words, "Education is the key to success!"

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Lucy Calderon and he is survived by his loving children; son, Damian; daughter, Melanie; sisters, Julie Calderon and Linda Martin; brother, Tony Calderon; grandchildren, Antonio, Mateo, Breana, Paige, Paxton, Maddox, and Piper; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

Services will be held at St Therese Catholic Church, 3424 4th St. NW. on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10:00 am.
