Wilberto Joe Archuleta, 89, of Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico, passed away on July 7, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Military funeral services and burial will be held at 9:00 am, on Friday, August 8, 2025 at the Angel Fire Veteran's Cemetery in Angel Fire, New Mexico.

Wilberto Joe Archuleta was born in Dixon, New Mexico to Leonora Barela and Abelino Archuleta on October 1, 1935.  He married Aurora Valerio on June 30, 1962 in Taos, New Mexico.  He worked and retired as a forest service supervisor for U.S. Forest Service. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Marine Corps and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

Wilberto was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors and shared his passion with his family members and friends.
