Victoria Jensen was born July 28, 1948 in Lamesa, Texas. She passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother will be remembered for her love of others. She was so compassionate, kind and caring, even when she did not feel well. Victoria always had a calmness about her and brought great comfort to so many. She was an amazing cook, she loved to travel, was a movie buff and enjoyed many fun times at the casino. Victoria loved and adored her grandchildren and will be forever remembered by her cherished family.

Proudly, Victoria was the Chairwoman of the VFW Women's Auxiliary, Post #401, for over 20 years. She was a devoted and beautiful lady who was a blessing to so many.

Victoria was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanford Jensen; her parents, Eugenio and Margarita; her sister, Refugia and by her brothers, Eugenio Jr., Nicolas and Domingo.

She is lovingly survived by her four children, Richard Rivas and wife Susan, Debbie Pacheco, Fidel Rivas and Christina Garcia; eight grandchildren, Dylan, Jake, Daniel (Narissa), Justin, Anthony, Adrienne, Aleigha and Ambry; seven great grandchildren, Ava, Justice, Raylee, Jeremiah, Stanley, Willa and Nalia; brother, Joe Ruiz and Tamara; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her greatly.

A visitation and rosary will take place in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services on Monday, June 10, 2024. The visitation will begin at 4:00 pm. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm.

The mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 8:30 am.

A reception will follow at the VFW, 2011 Girard Blvd SE., Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106.

The burial will then take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
