Transito Stevens beloved father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the age of 63. Transito was born July 8, 1961 and was a long-time resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He enjoyed reading the bible, talking about bible verses and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.

He is survived by his son Alfredo "Freddy" Stevens and wife Shannon; mother Anabel Stevens; sisters Carmelita Chavez, Priscilla Stevens and Laura Chavez; Godfather Ray Duran; numerous nephews, nieces, great and great great niece and nephews.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by daughter Amber Stevens; father Alfredo "Freddy" Stevens; sister Adela Stevens; Godfather Transito Stevens; and Godmother Aurelia Lucero.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 9:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church located at  9502 Fourth Street NW Albuquerque, NM 87114. His burial will follow at 10:30 am at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102. After the burial, the family would like to invite friends and family to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church Parish Hall for food and drinks.
