Toby Daniel Zamora, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on April 23, 2025, in Albuquerque at the age of 66.

Born on July 15, 1958, in Albuquerque, Toby remained deeply connected to the community where he was raised. Throughout his life, Toby nurtured a passion for craftsmanship and a love for the open road.

Toby is lovingly remembered by his wife Joanna; children James, (Jennifer),  Pepper (his devoted caregiver) (JD),  Anita, Barlow, Crystal and Nathan.  His legacy continues through 23 grandchildren and 5 great-grandsons. Toby also leaves behind siblings Lupita, Eva, Dimas, and Dolores. He was preceded by his mother Aurora, his father Jimmy, one brother, two sisters and mother in law Mary Garcia.

A talented woodworker and mechanic, Toby found great joy in creating with his hands—whether crafting beautiful pieces from wood or restoring engines to life. His enthusiasm for drag racing reflected a lifelong love of speed and precision. Time spent at the casino also brought him many moments of excitement.

Toby's Harley Davidson was a cherished source of freedom and pride; few things brought him more happiness than riding the open road atop his beloved bike. Toby's iconic mustache became a signature part of his identity—an enduring symbol of his spirited personality.

Toby's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. May his legacy bring comfort and inspiration to all whose lives he touched.
