Thomas "Tom" Anthony Gonzales, 66, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on April 29, 2022, due to a long illness.

Thomas was born to Demetrio and Louise "Louisa" Gonzales on May 19, 1955.

Tom joined the Army after high school and was stationed at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina, where he was in the 82 ^nd Airborne 1/505 ^th Charlie Co. and honorably served his country as a paratrooper. He had a big heart and always cared about everyone, a trait he passed on to his daughters and grandchildren. He loved dogs, especially his current ones, Oso and Jesse.

Tom is preceded in death by his father, Demetrio Gonzales; his mother and stepfather, Louise and Paul Salazar; his sister, Gloria Garcia; his brother, Cruz Gonzales and by his brother-in-law, Randy Stevens.

He is survived by his daughters, Brandi Fahrmeier (Jeremy) and Deidra Gonzales. He is also survived by his six grandchildren,  Logan, Bianca, Layla, Jewlian, Michael and Janessa; his sisters, Belinda (Art), Maria (David), Hope (Randy, deceased), and sister-in-law Darlene (Cruz, deceased). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him, including his Godson Isaac.

A burial service and celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
