Thomas passed at the young age of 48, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. His passion and love of music will be forever remembered by those that knew and loved him. His infectious smile would light up any room. In addition to his love of music, nothing made Thomas happier than his daughter; she was his heart and soul. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Thomas is survived by his daughter, Brooklyn and his loving partner, Melissa Austin. Thomas is also survived by his mother, Bernadette Austin; brothers and sister, Jude Austin (Marisa Salazar), Joseph Austin (Bridget Bedard), Sparky Austin (Valerie), Jason Collins (Cara Tolino), Michael Austin (Vivian), Marisol Austin (Daniel Chavez) and Alejandro Austin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including, Jessica Austin (Adam Chavez), Jude Austin Jr (Desirae), Lucus Austin, Noah Austin, Eden Austin, Frankie Austin, Orlando Pacheco (Manndy Quintana), Marcus Romero (Carissa), Michael Romero (Amy Ruybal) Michael Saavedra, Lana Saavedra, Dana Saavedra, Johnny, Nevaeh, Mariah, Elijah Benavidez, Ezequiel Benavidez, Mateo Austin and many cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Fred Austin; brother, Vicente Luis Gomez and by his grandparents.

A Celebration of his life will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM.  on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. The rosary will be recited at 8:00 am followed by a catholic mass.

A reception will then follow at Canvas Artistry, 1 Central Ave NW Suite 3A, Albuquerque, NM.

Pallbearers will be Jude Austin Jr, Lucas Austin, Noah Austin and Jesus Gomez.
