Terrance Michael Beale or "T" as he preferred to be called, was born on July 19, 1967, in Muenchweiller, Rhineland Pfalz, Pirmasens, Germany, as the second child to Charlie and Viola Beale. Terrance was raised in Sierra Vista, Arizona, located outside of Fort Huachuca, along with his siblings Kenneth, and Charlese. As an Army brat, he spent time in Belgium and Germany. During his childhood, he had many fond memories of life overseas with his family.

After graduation from Buena High School in May 1985, he began his life with the U.S. Air Force. Sergeant Beale proudly served for eight years as an Information Management Specialist Administrative Clerk. He dreamt of being a pilot, but he wore corrective lenses and at the time this disqualified him. Instead, he became friends with those who worked on the flight line so he could be closer to the planes. "T" said admin people were important if you wanted to get anything done in a bureaucratic system. After basic training, Terrance was hoping to go somewhere exotic but got stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base.  Because his dad was Army, and his family moved around a lot, he spent much of his childhood at Baptist churches including the one where his dad was a Pastor.  Terrance always said he started his life at 18 when he joined the U.S. Air force.

"T" served in the Gulf war campaign and from August 2, 1990 to August 31, 1993, in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. His last duty assignment was with the 542 Logistics Group.

Sergeant Beale was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, Air Force Outstanding Unit award with two oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the National Defense Service medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon, NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon with one oak leaf cluster, and an Air Force Training Ribbon.

Terrance left the Air Force with an honorable discharge in August 1993 and remained a resident of New Mexico. He was happily married to Debra Reid until her sudden passing in May 2016. They had lots of cats and a beautiful koi pond that he found solace in.

Sleep Ní Aire Mattress Factory in Albuquerque was his first job after the Air Force as a factory supervisor and salesclerk. "T" really enjoyed this job and had fond memories of his time spent there. It was a small business and "T" felt like family.  After that, "T" worked as a computer technician at various computer shops around town. His skills as a natural leader put him into more managerial positions. He worked at Lovelace Hospitals as a roving Desktop Support Technician.

After that he began his long, successful career as a contractor for Sandia National Laboratories as a Desktop Support Technician. Terrance served as Team Lead for the Red Rovers providing windows desktop support for the Classified Support Team. He would often reminiscence about the good old days when the Red Rovers were in their prime with him at the helm. "T" was a Service Manager with Mission Computing Services at Sandia National Laboratories and involved with cybersecurity.  His most recent role was Project Manager in cybersecurity until his sudden passing on 10/23/24.

Terrance was known for his big heart, immense strength, and wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed by all those that had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. He always had time for someone that needed him and affected countless lives in a positive way. He stood up for those who needed a voice and put people in their place when necessary. "T" was a devoted husband, and cat dad. He had adopted two sweet cats, Lily and Tara that were rescues from NMK-911, a Rio Rancho based nonprofit who focus on saving animals on the euthanasia lists. He loved his family very much.

Terrance married Joan Tobin, his second wife, August 18, 2021, in Corrales in a private outdoor ceremony. They enjoyed travelling to hot spring resorts, Air Force plane museums, and enjoying quality restaurants in other states. They also enjoyed spending time at home cooking and being domestic with their cats. Terrance had many hobbies. He loved playing basketball, gardening, yardwork, and spending time working on his koi pond. "T" was proud of his tiny patch of perfect grass and enjoyed mowing it. He loved spaghetti westerns, action movies, and military shows. He collected cowboy hats, eagle nicknacks, and anything related to fighter jets. Terrance loved to cook and made delicious BBQ chicken on his combo smoker grill. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment. He loved hard, lived strong and always said stay positive.

Terrance was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth; his first wife Deborah Reid; and his brother-in-law Craig Simon.  He will be lovingly cherished by his wife Joan Tobin; his father Charlie Beale and his wife Vicki; his mother Viola Beale; his baby sister Charlese Michelle Beale; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends. Lily and Tara will always be grateful that "T" provided them with a loving home with lots of toys, healthy food, veterinarian care and their own cat room. Words cannot describe how the sudden loss of this wonderful man leaves an emptiness in our lives. He was an original greatest of all time, that graced our lives and left too soon.

We the family honored Terrance's wishes with a direct cremation. Arrangements are being handled by Direct Funeral and Cremation Services, an independently owned business. A Celebration of Life Ceremony for Terrance Beale will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at New Mexico Veterans Memorial located at 1100 Louisiana Blvd SE #5009 Albuquerque, New Mexico 87108. We will celebrate his life as we process our grief.
