Susana Romero-Correa "Susie" entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday, August 21, 2025.  Susie was born May 7, 1931 in Taos, New Mexico to Epifanio and Maria Juliana Romero, who were blessed with 11 children of whom Susie was the second youngest.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jesus; daughter, Sylvia;  son, Oscar; grandsons, Victor Jr. and Mario; sisters, Eutilia, Socorro, Trinidad, Elva and Josephine; her, brothers, Pancracio, Higinio, Tomas, Jose de la Cruz; as well as other loved family members.

There is one surviving brother, Julian Romero and wife Eloida.  Susie's surviving children are Victor and wife Donna, Esther and husband Roger, Hugo and wife Barbara, America and husband Steve.  There are many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

After 20 years employment with GTE Lenkurt, later known as Siemens, she was able to retire.

Susie completed 2 years of 'Victory Bible School of Ministry' in 1994, while she attended Victory Love Fellowship Church.  The Church is now Legacy Church and Susie has continued to serve in several ministries during the combined 35 years of attendance.

Susie enjoyed serving at church, volunteering in her community (National Hispanic Cultural Center) and working out at various gyms.   She was blessed with the opportunity and ability to travel to other countries, went on many cruises and land tours.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Legacy Church (East Campus) 4701 Wyoming NE, 87109, on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (Please arrive earlier to sign guest book, view pictures and greet the family)

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that a donation be made to your charity of choice.
