Sharon Goodrich-Eras was born March 2, 1945 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the age of 81.

Sharon lived in Pasadena, California for over 20 years before moving back home to Albuquerque. Her favorite job was assisting blind youth at their live-in facility. She loved taking them on field trips and truly enjoyed their sense of humor. Sharon spoke of them the rest of her life and always fondly and with a smile.

Sharon loved pets! She always had dogs and cats in her homes. The on-going family joke was, "everyone wants to come back to life as a Goodrich Dog because they are so loved, spoiled and always given treats!"

She was preceded in death by her parents, C. Paul and Edna Goodrich; brothers, Ron and Don Goodrich; husband, Iwan Eras; sisters-in-law, Eunice and Greta Goodrich; nephew, Donald Goodrich; and her niece, Susan Goodrich.

Sharon is survived by her brothers, Steve and wife Wanda, C. Paul and wife Cynthia; many nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews and great great nieces. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE., on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 10:00 am.

Pallbearers will be John Goodrich, Adam Herrera, Harry Gunderson, Ron Gunderson, Ben Johnson and Eric Jorgensen. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial contribution, in Sharon's name, to Immanuel Lutheran School, 300 Gold Ave. SE. ABQ., NM. 87102.
