Sandra L. Stoflet (nee Mudgett), 76, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 in the late hours of the evening.

Music was an important part of Sandy's life and she was a published songwriter and author.  Sandy loved Jesus Christ with all of her heart and she is now in His presence forever and ever.

She is survived by her sisters, Audrey Everett of Indiana and Janet (Bruce) Katt of Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great great-nieces and nephews; as well as many friends Sandy called family. Sandy loved to travel, especially internationally.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho (New Mexico), 3906 19th Ave SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, her home church, on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:30 am MST.  For friends and family who will be unable to attend in person, the service will be streamed live online at the church's YouTube channel, FBCRR .

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institute of Health (www.nhibi.nih.gov) for research into aplastic anemia and/or Samaritan's Purse of Boone, NC. Both of these charities were close to her heart and would be a wonderful honor to Sandy's memory.
