Rudolph Garley "Rudy" was born in Peralta, New Mexico on July 18, 1949. He passed away at his home on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at the age of 72, after a long battle with cancer.

Rudy was a local businessman. He owned a concrete company, a gift shop in old town, and a landscaping company in his lifetime. Rudy will be remembered as always being a hardworking man. He was a professional carpenter who built custom homes and received many awards from Parade of Homes.

As well, Rudy had a passion for cars, especially classics and was an avid car racing fan.

Above all, Rudy will be remembered by his generous heart, sense of humor, and his talents as a builder. He was a loving father and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Garley; mother, Grace Garley and by his daughter, Tonya Nicole Garley.

Rudy is survived by his sister, Judy Baldonado; brother, Raymond Garley and wife Elaine; sons, Rodney Garley, Jeremiah Garley and Rudy Garley Jr.; daughter, Nicole Garcia and husband David; step-son, Frank Sandoval and wife, Jackie; granddaughters, Grace Garcia, Selena Garley and Brittany Chavez; grandsons, Lucio Sandoval, David Garcia Jr., Carlito and Antonio Garley.

Rudy received exceptional care from his sister, Judy with the support of his daughter, son-in-law, Nicole and David and former wife, Mary. Because of the love and care he received, Rudy was able to spend his last few years in his home surrounded by his treasured loved ones.

Services will be held at San Felipe De Neri Church in old town. The services and reception will follow at Church Street Café with the date and time to be announced, due to COVID.
