Obituary

Rosendo Anthony Romero, 40 years old, of Albuquerque NM, was tragically taken from us on November 10, 2024.

Rosendo was a man of many virtues, a hard worker, and Master Carpenter. His image was a priority, dressing to the T, getting weekly haircuts, and having nice shoes was a must. He was not a flawless man, but he loved hard and was always there for those that needed him. He lived a life experiencing internal conflict but never gave up. These last few years were far from his greatest, but he continued to smile through the bumpy road.

Rosendo was a risk taker and lived for the thrill, which drew him to snowboarding, gambling, and watching the Chiefs win. He spent several years of his life out on the Mountain top with family and friends descending the powder covered hills. He took pride in his ability and speed, and to his advantage would race the workers for free passes. He was always eager to win, and unlike most of us, he had pretty good success at the Casinos.

Rosendo had a beautiful soul and loved his family. He would show up to visit without a phone call, randomly wanting to hang out. In the last few years, these random visits were at any hour of the day or night. Growing up and into adulthood he was considered a Mamma's boy. He took pride in being able to be there for his mom and flourish her with gifts. He would give the shirt off his back if it meant making someone he loved happy, and would give up his entire check to the mother of his boys, no questions asked. Providing and giving was Rosendo's love language.

Rosendo's biggest accomplishments are his four boys, who he is leaving behind.

Rosendo is Survived by his Grandmother Gloria Serano; Mother Patsy Lee Garcia; Children Israel Romero, Judaes Romero, Ezekiel Romero, their Mother and former wife Naomi Hernandez; Son Isaac Romero and Mother Mariah Leyba-Holmes; Two sisters Joylenn Aragon and Jessica Diaz; Four nephews Mario Diaz, Alessandro Diaz, Luciano Diaz, Zane Lovato; many aunties, cousins, and friends.

Rosendo was preceded in death by Grandfather Presiano Romero; Grandfather Juan Serano; Grandfather Abran Garcia; Grandmother Nancy Romero; Father Anthony Romero; Brother-in-law Daniel Lovato; and Brother-in-law Mario Diaz.

Rosendo was taken too soon. He will always be loved and always be remembered.
