Rosalia L. Sandoval, 82 years of age, a longtime resident of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2021 with her family surrounding her.
Rosalia was born in Las Palomas, New Mexico, the daughter of Frances Ramos and Ernesto Trujillo, of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Rosalia was a longtime homemaker, raising her three children, an employee for the City of Rio Rancho, and a Dorm Counselor, for the New Mexico School for the Deaf, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She attended the New Mexico School for the Deaf, where she met and married her husband of 45 years, Demecio Sandoval, Sr., along with her long time companion of 19 years, Jerry Seth.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Demecio Sandoval, Sr. Rosalia is survived by her long time companion, Jerry Seth; two daughters, Luanna Rael and husband Paul, Debbie Sandoval and Filiberto Aragon; and son, Demecio Sandoval Jr. and wife Tracy; nine grandchildren, Jasmine Trudo and husband David, Zachary Rael and wife Johanna, Isaac Rael and wife Teresa, Rhiannon Rael and Frank Lujan, Jordan Sandoval, Madison Sandoval, Savannah-Kay Sandoval, Daniel Bryant, and Angelo Aragon; ten great-grandchildren, Lichelle Rael, Diego Rael, Santiago Rael, Sophia Lujan, Kayden Rael, Ty Rael, Malachi Rael, Adline Rael, Elianee Moreno and Roman Bryant; two Uncles, Alex Ramos and wife Ofelia, and Nick Ramos and wife Mary; numerous cousins, brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and special friends. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Thursday, January 6, 2022. The Rosary will be recited at 1:00 pm with the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1:30 pm. Her cremated remains will be interred at the Santa Clara Cemetery, in Wagon Mound, New Mexico at a later date.
