Ronald Andrew Garcia

1946 - 2025

Ronald A. Garcia, age 79, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025. Ron graduated in the St Mary's class of 1964 and proudly and honorably served his country in the US Navy for 12 years. He was part of the Navy Band and traveled the world playing saxophone and clarinet. Upon leaving the Navy, he retired from the US Postal Service and later worked for Santa Ana Casino and also worked as a taxi driver until his final retirement.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Lila Garcia; his sister, Yolanda Garcia and by his niece, Stephanie Garcia. He is survived by his children, Monique E. Garcia, Ivan A. Garcia and Sarah E. Valdez, and by his grandchildren Ethan Valdez and Kayla Montoya.

Interment services will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. with US Navy Honors.
