Roberta Charlene Baier, age 65, completed her journey to heaven Monday, December 6, 2021, in her home of Farmington, New Mexico.  Roberta was born April 10, 1956 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.    She was the baby of the family by 8 years.

Roberta married Alan L. Baier, May 18, 1974 and raised a son and daughter. Her husband served in the US Marine Corp for 17 years.  During their 37 years of marriage, she completed her Associate Degree and worked as a healthcare provider and hospice nurse.

In recent years Roberta was actively involved in Farmington Community Bible Study.  She loved God's word and the friendships she developed as she studied with other women.  Her knowledge of God's love for her deepened during the years she invested in this group.

Roberta was also active in WEROC, Women Earnestly Relying On Christ.  She encouraged women to fight for sobriety and recovery in Christ.  After her own success in finding freedom from drug abuse, she led others down the road of recovery.

Emmanuel Baptist Church was her home and she found family relationships within the membership.  She was actively involved in ministry at her church.  She volunteered her time at the Free Store associated with the Methodist Church.  She was also active at the Senior Center of Farmington, New Mexico.

Roberta is survived by a brother and sister, as well as, her son, Kristopher Baier of Farmington, New Mexico.  She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister, and daughter, Tabitha McLean.

Memorial services will be on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church 211 W. 20 ^th , Farmington, New Mexico.
