Robert R. Talk was born June 23, 1943 in Rehoboth, New Mexico. He passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2024.

Robert was proud to have served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Throughout life, he worked as a welder with the Local Union #412, where he traveled extensively fabricating buildings, bridges and structures. Robert was an extremely talented and competent welder and took great pride in his abilities. He enjoyed traveling, sight seeing with his late wife, camping, going to the mountains and spending time with his family. Robert was loved and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, Robert Jr. and Kimbrow Talk; his wife, Elizabeth Talk; three grandsons, Nathan Talk, Preston Willhite and Brian Talk; and by his granddaughter, Nicole Adams.

Robert is survived by his children, Dorene Talk, Corey J. Talk, Shalmarie Talk, Sharlene Talk and Wendy Toledo; sister, Lynn Margaret; two brothers, Howard Talk and Truman Talk; three grandchildren, Justin Willhite, Cheena S. Rose and Taymica K. Talk; ten great grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

Services will be held at Dineh Christian Church, 7777 US-Highway 491, Shiprock, NM. 87420, on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
