Robert C. Sena- At the age of 66, Robert left this world peacefully on Friday, December 19th, 2025 at his home in the south valley, two days shy of his 67th birthday. A resident of Albuquerque, Robert was born on December 21, 1958, in Las Vegas, NM to Joe and Otilia Sena. After graduating from Albuquerque High School, he held many jobs until he was hired at the University of New Mexico Hospital to which he dedicated 33 years of service
A loving husband of 48 years to Julie, he was a pillar of strength and support for his family. Together they raised two children, Felicia and Bobby Jo. He was a devoted father, always there to offer guidance, love, and a helping hand. He cherished his family and the memories they created.
Robert had many passions in life, including painting, forging, leather work, wood and stone carving, metal works, and photography which he enjoyed, displayed, gifted, and sold. During his retirement he was able to care for his father-in-law, father, and his mother. Robert and Julie were not only partners in life they were partners in crime. They did everything together, inseparable since they were 18. They enjoyed monthly outings with their grandchildren; movies, bowling, museums, and local events to name a few. They visited many of places like New York City, Niagara Falls, and recently took a two-week cruise to Alaska.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Julie; his children, Felicia, Bobby Jo his partner Jovanah, and four grandchildren, Joseph, Jeremiah, Noah and Jolyssa. He is also survived by his sisters Martha, Arleen, and brothers-in- law, Mark, Vince and Matt as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A rosary service to celebrate Robert's life will be held at the Church of the Ascension, located at 2150 Raymac Rd SW., on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 6:00pm and funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 10:00am. Family and friends are invited to attend and pay their respects.
Rest in peace my love, dad, grandpa, brother, family and friend. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever, till we meet again.
