Robert "Bobby" Garcia

Bobby passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2023 with family at his side.

He was raised in Corrales, New Mexico and graduated from Cibola High School. Bobby was a very hard worker and worked for Green Valley Tree Service and for Branchez Tree Service. As well, he enjoyed riding his bike, fishing, the mountains and singing.  Bobby had a green thumb and loved gardening. His favorite song was Let's Live for Today by Grass Roots.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Margaret Garcia; brothers, Benjamin Garcia, Frankie Garcia and Juan Garcia; brothers-in-law, Alex Gomez and Tino Montoya; nephews, Robert Garcia and Ben Montoya.

Bobby is survived by his sisters, Emily Gomez, Liz Sanchez (David), Barbara Montoya, Roberta Garcia (Louie) and Betty Bradley (Kenny); brothers, Nick Garcia Jr. (Gloria), Andy Garcia (Henrietta), Chris Garcia (Rita) and  numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

The services will be held at Aquinas Newman Center, 1815 Las Lomas Road NE Albuquerque, NM 87106 on Saturday, March 4, 2023. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00am followed by celebration of Mass at 10:30am. A reception will be held after mass at 1305 Los Arboles Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107. A private interment will be held at a later date.
