Richard William Lyons "Dickie" was born October 1, 1939 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, Dickie passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Dickie loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family and worked as a transmission mechanic at Budget Transmission in Albuquerque for over 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Lola Lyons and is survived by his wife of 63 years, Stella Lyons of the family home in Albuquerque; sons, Rick Lyons and wife Jeanella and Patrick Lyons of Albuquerque; four brothers, Johnny, Jimmy, Michael and Ike; two sisters, Dolores and Barbara; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.
