Rhonda Lee McCarty, age 76, of Sandia Park New Mexico, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026.

Born January 29th of 1950 in Lamont, Illinois, Rhonda was the youngest sister to Judi Alyea and Cheryl Senffner and the older sister to Mike Yoeman. She was the daughter of Margaret Yoeman and Omer Yoeman. Rhonda has been married for 37 years to Greg McCarty.

Rhonda bartended at an airport hotel most her career. Her outgoing and silly personality made it easy for her to be friends with frequent flyers over the years. On her free time she loved to paint, grow tomatoes and spend time with her family. As well Rhonda enjoyed traveling to go fishing at her sister's house in Florida with her best friend, Mikey Ray ( of 50+ years ), this was her favorite thing to do.

Rhonda had a son, Marc ladanza and a daughter Gina ladanza. Both of her children created beautiful grandchildren for Rhonda; Cayla Lucas, Nick Iadanza, Nathan Stack, Alyssa Stack, Lucas Iadanza and Baya Lujan. These grandchildren made Rhonda's life whole.

A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service for Rhonda will be held at Harvest Bible Fellowship, 216 Horton Rd. Edgewood, NM., on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10:00 am.
