Rebecca Rose Dorneman
1977-2021
Rebecca Rose Dorneman best known as "Rosebud" to her dad, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 44. She was born February 2, 1977 in Albuquerque and resided there up until her death.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her dad, Eugene T. Dorneman; her mom, Sharon L. Dorneman, and by her maternal grandparents, Wendell K. and Lucetta R Smith.
She is lovingly survived by her sister, Hollie M. Riggin; brother-in-law, Terry Riggin of Rio Communities, New Mexico; nieces, Lydia G. Riggin and Keilee N. Riggin both of Rio Communities, New Mexico, and by her daughters, Sharon Fitzgerald and Alexis "Lexiie" Dorneman both residing in New Mexico.
Rebecca attended Faith Bible Church in Albuquerque up until early adulthood and later converted to Messianic Judaism. She attended Adat Yeshua Synagogue this year for a short time. She had a calling to minister to her fellow Jews and was not afraid to tell them about her Savior. She loved Israel from the moment she visited in 2008. Rebecca was vehemently against anti-Semitism in any form and advocated for Jewish people. Rebecca was also prolife and spoke out against abortion at any gestation. She had a fondness for animals, especially dogs and wolves. Rebecca loved yellow roses but her absolute favorite flower was the sunflower. She will best be remembered for her silly grin when she was enjoying herself, her dance when you told her she was going out to eat, and wearing her famous yellow tennis shoes. She had the biggest "sweet tooth" and enjoyed confections of any kind. Rebecca was loved and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Bible Church, 9600 Central Ave. SE. ABQ., NM. 87123, on Friday, January 14, 2022. A visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and the memorial will follow at 1:30 pm.
