Raymond Philip Cotinola

1945-2025

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Raymond P Cotinola, age 80, on Monday, March 24, 2025. He is survived by his wife Teresa Cotinola, daughters Natalie and husband David Bustillos, Melissa and husband Freddy Sanchez; granddaughter, Ashley Cotinola and husband Antonio Gallegos and great grandsons, Alijah and Adryan Cotinola-Gallegos. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Nestora Cotinola, and by his brother, Roy Cotinola.

As a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Raymond (Ray) proudly served during the Vietnam war in the Army with the 39th Engineer Battalion. For many many years, Ray served as vice president of the Rickshaw Motor Club. He enjoyed building classic cars from the ground up. He finished many favorite classics but his pride and joy was his '39 Chevy Sedan. His favorite adventures were fishing and above all he loved cruises with his family and friends. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, beginning at 9:00 am, at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, Albuquerque NM 87105. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Alb NM 87102.
