Ramon J. Silva our beloved patriarch, dad, grandad, tata, great grandad has been called to his rest on October 21, 2021.  He was born on March 21, 1924.  He seamlessly transitioned to each stage of his life.  He never forgot the harsh days of the depression in his youth, but it strengthened his resolve and ambition to earn a decent living and provide for his family.

He served in the Army during WWII and married mom Florela on February 18, 1946.  They welcomed their children Vivian (deceased), Libby, Wilfred and wife Patsy, Erma and husband Adrian, Richard and wife Sandra.  He had a long career as a clerk at Kirtland air force base.  He enjoyed life through its ups and downs.  He survived a heart bypass surgery at 61 and partook of a full life, traveling, dancing and his daily nourishment of beans and chile. The journey continued with mom for 74 years.  She passed on September 14, 2020.  He made the best of it surviving 13 months till collapsing with a stroke and passing three days after.
