Peter "Pete"
Padilla
May 26, 1971 — Sep 2, 2023
Albuquerque
Peter Padilla 5/26/1971 - 9/2/2023
Peter Padilla, "Pete", was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Arlene M. Giannini and Victor P. Padilla. He graduated from Valley High School and attended The University of New Mexico.
Peter loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He loved his cats Taco and Banjo. He loved talking with friends and making them laugh. He loved you.
Peter never met a stranger and everyone he met would come away with a sense of a personal bond with him.
Many times, Peter gave the shirt off his back AND his last dime to someone in need. His generosity was without limit. His hands never harmed a thing. His words and humor healed many.
One root of Peter's family tree sprouted from Italy, and each year he traveled there for a month. He loved everything about Italy: the places, the people and, of course, the food. Peter worked throughout the year optimistically planning for the coming once-a-year travel to his family's country of origin.
In his 14 years with Transportation Security Administration he was very proud of the service to the Nation that he and his Team provided. Take care of them for Peter.
Peter is survived by his father, Victor and his wife Maria; his mother, Arlene Giannini; his brother and best friend, Victor G. Padilla; his sister, Adrienne Padilla; nieces, Alexis Cervantes, Marianna, and Lillian Padilla; his nephews, Enzo and Otto Padilla and their mother Julie Padilla and great nephew Anthony; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him greatly.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church 619 Copper Ave. NW.,

A Memorial Reception will be held for family and friends on Saturday, September 23rd at 4:00 PM at 9136 Guadalupe Trail NW, 87114. Light food will be provided.
