Pedro Aranda Orona was born September 14, 1968 in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua to Miguel and Maria Escamilla.

He passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, Pedro will always be remembered for his amazing upholstery work, along with his brother Pablo, in New Mexico, Texas and Nevada. Their amazing work, especially on custom car upholstery, will never be forgotten.

Pedro truly loved spending time with his treasured family. As well, he loved going to Mass, having a nice cup of coffee, cooking and visiting friends and family in Mexico. He was loved and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel Aranda Escamilla and Maria Esther Orona Enriquez and by his granddaughter, Daleth Aranda.

Pedro is survived by his 7 children, Maria and husband Manuel Vazquez, Miguel Aranda and wife Valeria Chavez, Pedro Aranda, Jasmine Kosel and wife Trish, Odalys Aranda, Hilda Aranda and partner, Edward Naranjo and Liam Aranda; the mother of his children, Hilda Castro; 20 grandchildren; several brothers and sisters as well as other family members and many friends who will mourn his passing.

A visitation will be held at the family home, 8405 Capulin Rd. NE., on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The funeral services will be held at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway Blvd. SE., on Friday, August 8, 2025. The visitation will begin at 9:00 am and the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE.

Pallbearers will be Pedro, Miguel, Pablo, Pete, Ivan, Edward, Edwin, Adan, Francisco,  Jesus, Ramon, Raul, Francisco and Manuel.
