Paul  Burt, 64, of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022, peacefully at home. Paul is survived by his wife, Amy Lea; daughter, Emily (Michael) Zagar; four grandchildren; parents, Ben and Janice Burt; sister, Christy (Mel) Davis; two nieces; sister-in-law, Katrina White; many friends and colleagues (his second family) at KRQE News 13.  Paul was preceded in death by his brother, John Burt.

After graduating high school Paul served in the US Army and then attended ENMU, where he discovered photojournalism. He worked for 35 years at KRQE, as Operations Manager. As well, Paul was a die-hard Cowboys fan. He enjoyed traveling with Amy and their good friends, Steve and Betina McCracken.
