Patsy Lorraine Perea was called by the Lord on Saturday, September 3, 2022.  She was born April 10, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Patsy was dedicated to God, her husband and her family. Her children were the loves of her life and considered all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews her babies.

She was an avid decorator, home renovator and gardener. She loved creating an environment where everyone could gather and enjoy the fruits of her labor and celebrate the blessings of the Lord. Patsy always celebrated the accomplishments of her family and friends and placed the needs of others before herself.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Adelino and Tillie Montoya and by her brothers, Bobby and Adelino Jr. Montoya.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Raymond Perea; children, Christine Montoya and husband Leonard, Frank Armijo and wife Christin and Angela Rodriguez; brothers, John Walter Montoya, Jerry Montoya and wife Isabel; grandchildren,  Samantha Armijo, Kevin Armijo, Nicholas and Nathan Piña, Tré and Patrick Chavez; great-grandchildren, Cynthia Miera, Dante and Aria Gwilt, Isabella Tafoya, Dezmond, Sebastian and Logan Piña. Patsy is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law who will continue to carry on her spirit.

Services will be held at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona Rd. SW., on Friday, September 16, 2022. The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am with the interment following at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd. NE.
