1947 - 2026

Patricia Rae Walters "Pat", a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM,  passed away suddenly on Friday, January 9, 2026.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gerald; her son, Jeff; daughter, Jennifer; granddaughter, Mia, and by her brother, Don.

Patricia was born in Albuquerque, NM to parents Ervin and Katherine Young on October 30, 1947. She spent 45 years as a professional hairdresser and built a thriving personal business. She was a certified Master Gardener of New Mexico and put a lot of time and energy on her garden and knowledge of flowers. She volunteered about 10 years of her time to Calvary Church's Women's Ministry and their ReLoad Love initiative. Pat had a deep faith and showed it by her service to others.

A service will be provided for Pat at Calvary Church, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:00 am There will be a reception following the service from 12pm-2pm also at Calvary Church.

A private family interment will take place later at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, where her parents are also interred.
