In Loving Memory of Patricia Sarah Lauffenburger

Patricia Sarah Lauffenburger was born March 5, 1933, in San Francisco, California. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 3. 2024.

A proud graduate of Jefferson Union High School. Patricia went on to earn her Registered Nursing degree from Franklin Hospital School of Nursing. She married her high school sweetheart, Arthur Lauffenburger, and they settled in Redwood City, California, where they raised three children. In 1973, Patricia and her family relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico where she continued her nursing career as an Industrial Nurse at Digital Equipment.

Patricia was a woman of many passions. After retirement she enjoyed traveling and motorcycling with her husband.  An avid seamstress and knitter, Patricia also found joy in her volunteer work with Pope Joy and the Old Town Visitation Center.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Leo; her son, Arthur Albert; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth and by her son-in-law, Glen Comyford. She is survived by her daughter, Winnie Comyford; grandchildren, Justin Comyford and Brandy Comyford; five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; as well as other family members and friends.

Patricia was a wonderful friend and a caring person who was always there to help others. She was loved and will be deeply missed by anyone who knew her. As per her request, cremation has taken place. A family gathering will be held at a later date to place her with her husband at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. May her soul rest in peace.
