United States Air Force Retired MSgt. Norman Walter Quillin was born May 3, 1934 in San Diego, California to parents Walter Charles and Ethel Esme Quillin.

Norman married his church and high school sweetheart, Shirley Dene Williard on May, 23, 1953. Shirley predeceased Norman July 4, 2007.

He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1953-1977; he went to school after that and had a 30 year career as a watch/clock repairman. Norman was also a Mason, belonging to Zia Daylight Lodge #77, Hiram Lodge #13, Edgewood Lodge #82, and in Vaughn New Mexico and also served as Associate Guardian several times for Bethel #3 International Order of Jobs Daughters, and as Chapter Dad several times for The Order of DeMolay. Norman also raced co-carts in Roswell, New Mexico and his race name was "Speedy Gonzales." He also enjoyed coaching Little League, he won awards in the military for sharp shooting, was an avid bowler, bowling in leagues for over 50 years and he lived his life in service to other's. As well, Norman was an avid hunter for many years.

Norman and Shirley had four children; Debbie Caswell, Terry Jaber, Darrell Quillin (deceased 2014), and LeAnn Quillin-Napoleone; nine grandchildren, Mary Riggs, Jacque Caswell, Elias Jaber (deceased 1980), Sara Frie and husband USAF SSgt Paul Frie, Jacob Jaber, Katie Quillin, Kimberly Quillin, G. Wayne Napoleone II and Garrett Napoleone; 11 great-grandchildren,  Zachariah, Emmariah, Maleah and Serriah Riggs,  Elias and Aaron Young, Ian Kieper, Kiley and Lily Frie, Alayna and Kenzy Nail.

Dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, Brother Quillin and Dad Quillin will be missed, and was very dearly loved.

A private Masonic Ceremony will be held and Norman will be interred at the Santa Fe National with his late wife, Shirley.
