Nola Ann Romero was born March 10, 1965 in Albuquerque, New Mexico died December 20, 2022 in Albuquerque at UNM hospital. She was very ill and, unfortunately, wasn't able to recover.

Nola was the daughter of Patsy Gonzales and Auburn Lay.  She was married to Kenneth Romero and had four children, Mary Chavez, Kenneth Romero Jr, Monique Lay and Bridget Romero; as well as all of her loving grandchildren, Michael Angelo, Angelique, Angel, Dawnjade, Melanie and Trinity.

Nola loved her family and loved to cook. When it came to life, she made her own rules. She will be remembered as a loving mother and an amazing grandmother who will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at San Jose de Duranes Mission Church, 2110 Los Luceros Rd. NW. on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 10:00 am with a reception following.
