Nick Montoya was born May 5, 1951 in Bernalillo, New Mexico. He passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023.

Nick will be remembered as a wonderful carpenter and a great woodworker. He loved music, especially playing the guitar. Nick was a very generous and kind man to everyone. He loved to go to the mountains, pick pinon, was always smiling and joking and enjoyed spending time with his family.  Nick was a very caring brother, uncle, and a best friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents, Abran and Margarita Montoya; by his brothers, Leo Montoya, Paul Montoya and Richard Montoya and by his sister, Olivia Gonzales. He is survived by his two daughters, Lorraine Carlos and Yvonne Ramirez; two brothers, Jose A. Montoya and Leonard Montoya; three sisters, Cecilia Montoya, Rita Montoya and Georgina Valencia; as well as grandchildren, nieces nephews, other family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at the  First Assembly Church in Bernalillo (274 Camino Don Tomas, Bernalillo, NM 87004), on Friday, July 28th, 2023 at 11:00 am.
