Natheus Alexander Martinez, "Thay-Thay" was born September 28, 2012. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, he passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at the age of 12.

Thay-Thay loved his family dearly, more than anyone could ever express in words. He was so conscious of others and so thoughtful, always wanting to make sure everyone was ok. Thay-Thay will be remembered for being very courageous and fearless and for always bringing out the best in others, that was his love. He always focused on everything good and positive and always placed others needs before his own. Thay-Thay loved his dogs, enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler and his dirt bike, participating in flag football and making up beats to keep a smile on everyone's face.  He was loved and will be greatly missed.

Thay-Thay is survived by his treasured family; his father, Daniel; mother, Felicia; brother, Daniel; cousins, Jayla, Jazzy and Ben; grandmother, Angela Sedillo; Uncles, Johnny and Adolfo; aunts, Amanda and Charmaine; best friend, Lawrence; as well as many other cousins, aunts, uncles, family members and friends that will mourn his passing.

Services will be held at New Beginnings Church, 4770 Montgomery Blvd. NE., on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am with the funeral service at 11:00 am. The burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Sr., Daniel Jr., Ben, Ernest, Mateo, Phil, Johnny and Adolfo.
