Natalie Renee Chavez
September 26, 1982 – July 8, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Natalie Renee Chavez, who entered eternal rest on July 8, 2026, at the age of 43. Natalie was born on September 26, 1982, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she was raised and spent much of her life surrounded by family and friends.

Natalie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved arts and crafts, enjoyed spending time at the casino, and had a caring heart for children. Her compassionate nature and willingness to care for others reflected the kindness she carried throughout her life. She will be remembered for the love she shared with those closest to her and for the lasting memories she created with family and friends.

Natalie was preceded in death by her father, Kelly Chavez, and her stepfather, Francisco Mauricio.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Kelly Lisa Chavez; her mother, Michelle Mauricio; her brothers, Casey Chavez and Abie Chavez; and her devoted fiancée, Timothy Chavez.

She also leaves behind her aunts, Yvette Chavez Pena and her husband, Alfred, Valerie Santillanes, and Beatrice Santillanes; her uncles, Robert Santillanes and his wife, Susan, Raymond Santillanes and his wife, Jennifer, Albert Santillanes, Anthony Chavez and his wife Nano and Bobby Chavez and his wife, Irma; her grandmother Carmen Chavez; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and cherished friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 3, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Josephs Dr. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.

Natalie's love, kindness, and caring spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in the eternal peace of God's loving embrace.
