Nancy Rose Valverde, Beloved Wife, Mother and Nannie, went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2024. She was born in Gallup, New Mexico July 19, 1945 to Rafealita Garcia and Joe Martinez.  She married her one and only true love Frank Valverde June 4, 1960 and moved to Albuquerque, NM to live out their 64 years of marriage together.  They worked side by side owning four successful businesses, Ace Pumping Service, Frank's Auto Salvage, Ace Auto Glass and Ace Trucking Company. Taking care of her family was always her first love and priority in life. She loved NASCAR racing, her Soap Operas, and spending an evening at the casino at her husband's side. Many nights they would both win big, enjoy a steak dinner together, and celebrate the night.  She had the most wonderful giving heart, always willing to help with what little they may have had to anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Valverde; sons Frankie and Ronnie; grandson Jesse; Great Granddaughter Takya Sanchez; mother Rafaelita; father Joe; brothers Joseph and Barnaby; and Sister Lillian.

She is survived by sons Freddie (Suzette), Rodney (Monica), and Dennis (Connie), and daughter Deborah Smithson (John); 22 loving grandchildren; 29 loving great grandchildren; sisters Kathy, Irene, Teresa, and Betty; and brothers Michael and David.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St NW.

Final viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 am with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Legacy Church, 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE.  Internment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.

A reception for family and friends will follow internment at Legacy Church, 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE.
