Mun Wong

Mun resided in Hong Kong and worked as a nurse in a clinic. She was a private nurse as well. She would ride a motorcycle to people's homes and provide nursing services, even for those who couldn't pay.

Mun moved to the United States in 1987 and settled in Albuquerque N.M. as a single mom with 3 children.

She would sell things to make money and was very good at knitting and made hats and vests by hand to sell. Mun was very proud of her children who flourished by getting their college degrees and worked in well paying careers. In her extra time, Mun enjoyed playing mahjong and blackjack. She also enjoyed going out to eat with friends. Mun liked eating lobster, ice-cream, and durian.

Mun passed away peacefully at home with her family and friends at her bedside. She will be missed.

Mun is preceded in death by her parents, Yau Hang Wong (father), Suk Ching Wong (mother). She is survived by her children, Sidney Lee of New Mexico, Lena Lee (Mike) of Michigan, and Nelson Lee (Jeanine) of California. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kaylee Chan, Jason Lee, and Sophia Lee.

Mun will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery, IBPS Buddhist Memorial Complex, in Los Angeles, California.
