Obituary

Michael Toby Quinto passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the age of 68.  He was born January 26, 1954,  to Tobias and Gloria Quinto in Taos, New Mexico. When he was a baby, the family moved to Denver, Colorado.  He attended Hodgkins Jr. High and was a good student.  He was also an incredible athlete.  He held the school record for track for many years even after he left and could still quite possibly be a record holder today.  He attended Westminster High School and graduated in 1971.

He joined the Navy in 1974.  He was stationed at Alameda and was aboard the USS Vega while serving in the Vietnam War and was also aboard the Mayaguez on May 15, 1975.  He received numerous medals and awards for his service to our country.

Mike was a kind and sweet person who struggled in life.  He was deeply loved by those who knew him.  He loved animals,  cats mostly but he had a love for all of Gods four legged creatures.  After the Navy, he attended Bel Rea to be Veterinary Technician.  It was his dream job.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Tobias Quinto and Gloria Lucero; brother, Terry Quinto and his daughters; Katherine Ann Quinto and Kathleen Inez Quinto.

He is survived by his brother, Danny (Annie) Quinto, his daughter Anisa (Brandon) Seibel; grandchildren, Ashleigh (Derek) Valenzuela, Christian Seibel; great grandchildren, Alexander and Nathaniel Valenzuela.
