Michael Paul Astorga known to many as Mikie was born July 17th, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was called home on May 25th, 2021. Michael was a mechanic most of his working life. His best job was working for the City of Albuquerque's Fire Department where he repaired fire trucks.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Lydia Garcia; father, Anthony Astorga and by his brother, Anthony Astorga II.

Michael is survived by his youngest son, Jacob Astorga as well as many other children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Stephen Astorga; sisters, Frances Skelton, Lydia and brother-in-law, Paul Hale, and Celia Stevens. Michael (Mikie) was known by his many nieces and nephews as uncle Boy.

A Christian service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10:00 am at 9901 Plunkett Dr NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.
