Michael Felix Guzman Jr, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque's North Valley, was born December 26, 1944. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the age of 79. He was blessed to have resided the last 6 years at Suites at Rio Vista.

Michael honorably served his country in the US Navy. He loved to fish and was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos. Michael will be remembered for his love of dancing and listening to music, especially the blues, oldies and 89.1- New Mexico's best Spanish music. Most of all he loved spending time with his treasured family.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Della Guzman and by his brother, Thomas Guzman.

He is survived by his son, Edward Guzman and Susan Jeffries; daughter, Michelle Lyden; two grandchildren, Natasha Gutierrez and Niko Lyden; great granddaughter, Felicianna Gutierrez; niece, Elise Guzman-Hutchison; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

Services will be held at St Therese Catholic Church, 4th and Mildred NW. in Albuquerque, NM. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 6:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 10:00 am with a reception following in the Parish Hall. The Military Interment will take at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11:00 am with US Navy Honors.
