Michael Braniff Sr. passed away on February 26, 2026, after bravely fighting cancer with the same determination and strength that defined his life. Even in his hardest moments, Michael never gave up and always kept those around him believing he would prevail.

Michael was a devoted father to his children, Michael, Matthew, Alexandra, Joseph, and Joshua. He was also a proud grandfather to Michael, Alessandra, Damian, Jordan, Joshua, Josiah, and honorary grandchild Emiliano. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter-in-law Dominique, son-in-law Todd, and his partner of 32 years Priscilla.

Michael spent many years as a hardworking Postal worker, dedicating himself to providing for his family. Supporting and caring for those he loved was the purpose that guided his life. He was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to those closest to him. He enjoyed life fully and had a gift for conversation. Michael could strike up a conversation anywhere he went and had a natural ability to make friends wherever life took him. But more than anything, Michael cherished time with his family and the moments spent sharing stories, laughter, and memories.

Michael was a follower of Christ who attended church regularly and did his best to live his life with honesty, faith, and integrity. His faith guided him through life's challenges and shaped the man so many knew and loved.

While Michael's passing leaves a deep space in the hearts of those who loved him, his family asks that he not be remembered in sadness, but in celebration.

Michael lived his life with strength, humor, faith, and heart. The best way to honor him is to share the stories, laughter, and good memories he created with everyone lucky enough to know him.
