Maureen O'Connor Wilmot

Maureen O'Connor Wilmot was born March 30, 1946 in Denver Colorado. She passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at her home.

Maureen will be remembered as a dedicated mother and a long-time special education teacher.

One of her favorite sayings was, 'to say the least'; and using her words to say the least, we will so miss her.

Maureen spent her entire life advocating for people who struggled, and worked tirelessly to alleviate their pain and burdens.

She is survived by her daughter, Helene Martinez and by her husband, Tom Wilmot; as well as other family members and friends who loved her.

Her family would be honored to welcome one and all as we celebrate her life at the Albuquerque Garden Center, 10120 Lomas Blvd NE. ABQ., NM. 87112, on Thursday, September 4, at 6:00 pm.
