Marylou Salazar was born March 18, 1955. Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico by her parents, Dominica and  Frank Armijo, she passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family

Marylou will be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother,  GrandmaNana, sister, auntie, cousin and friend to many. She enjoyed cooking , dancing listening to music, she loved bingo, but most importantly, she loved life.

She will always be remembered by her beautiful smile, outgoing personality,  her humor, her courage and especially by the love she had for her treasured family; especially her children, Ruby and Frank; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her life partner.

Despite her ongoing battle with cancer Marylou always stood strong and positive, facing each day with such braveness. She faced life's challenges head on with determination; Never giving up. With out a doubt, she was definitely a fighter in every sense.
