Mary Ann Sanchez, 95, passed away Thanksgiving Morning, November 24, 2022.  She was born in La Jara, New Mexico, and lived in Cuba New Mexico until her family moved to Albuquerque when she was 3.  She attended Longfellow Elementary, Lincoln Junior High, and graduated from Albuquerque High School. She was preceeded in death by her parents Ramon and Elena Garcia, her beloved husband Max after 62 years of marriage, and her six sisters, Sister Raphael, Mary Sandoval, Peggy Sena, Sophie De Anda, Rosalie Aragon, and Pat Steel.  She is survived by her daughter Maxine Bushman (James), son Walt Sanchez, grandchildren Jenise Aminoff (Alex), Jimmy Bushman, Dr. Karissa Bushman, Max Sanchez, and Jason Sanchez, great-grandchildren Annelise and Eleanor Aminoff, Tyler, Samantha, Adrian, Derryk, Kaylub, Faith and Hope Sanchez, and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Special thanks to Adam Stanley and the amazing and dedicated staff at Casa de Paz Assisted Living in Rio Rancho, Hospice of New Mexico, and Randy Vallejos, her Centennial Care coordinator.  Funeral services will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 at San Felipe De Neri Church, rosary at 10:00 AM, mass at 10:30 AM.  In lieu of flowers please donate to San Felipe de Neri Church.
