Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marlene Anaya on September 11, 2024. A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Marlene leaves behind her loving husband Jerry; her three sons, Bennie (wife Tiffany, grandchildren Angelique, Issac, Brittany, and great-grandchild Stella Luna), Andrew (wife Erica, grandchild Cassidy), and Patrick (wife Jessica, grandchildren Amia and Avery). She also adored her stepchildren: Jeannie (child Zeke), Jerry Jr. (deceased) (wife Veronica, children Isaiah and Gabriel), Larry (wife Denisha, daughters Trinity, Anessa, and Adrina, and great-granddaughter Layla), and Christopher (children Zack and Zyla). Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Known for her incredible cooking, Marlene's kitchen was always filled with love and delicious food. Her homemade tortillas and pumpkin cookies, especially during the holidays, were legendary and will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of enjoying them.

Marlene found happiness in the simple things—camping with her beloved husband Jerry, spending time with their four dogs, playing pool, and passionately cheering on her Philadelphia Eagles. She also treasured her friendships she shared with her best friends, Julie and Cynthia. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her, but her spirit and legacy will live on.
