Mark Earl Ramsey, age 65, of Tijeras, New Mexico, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Mark was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in Canfield, Ohio with his loving parents and one sibling. Mark was a talented young artist and accomplished equestrian. He graduated from South Range High School in 1976. He joined the Army in 1982 completing his basic training in North Carolina, was stationed in California before being deployed and stationed in Bamberg, Germany. Mark served 4 years, quickly obtaining the title of Sargent. He completed 2 additional years in the reserves and was honorably discharged receiving his Army service ribbon, overseas ribbon, badges for mechanics and Expert M16 rifle, as well as the good conduct medal.

Mark followed his father's footsteps working at General Motors and made wonderful memories with his wife, friends, and children in Ohio. In his later years he enjoyed listening to his records on full blast and spending time outside in the mountains feeding his wildlife friends. He will never be forgotten as a veteran, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His legacy will live on forever.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Ramsey and by his father, Earl V. Ramsey. He leaves behind his wife, Angel Ramsey and three children, Mark Ramsey (Kandi Ramsey), Sabrina Shook and Amanda Pacheco (George Pacheco); along with five grandchildren, Antonio, Dominick, Rosalynn, Alia and Raiden.

A memorial service will be held at San Isidro Catholic Church in Sedillo, New Mexico on Saturday, January 27, 2024 with the time to be announced.
