Mark Anthony Almaraz "Tony" was born October 12, 1960 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, father, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed.

Mark loved to joke around, ride his Harley, enjoyed surfing and other water sports and even competed in the Rio Grande River Raft Race. He also enjoyed his lazy days spent watching classic movies and spending time with his treasured family.

Everyone knew Mark had a very strong work ethic, amazing abilities and was a true perfectionist in his construction trade. He was very proud of the 3 years he spent in Hawaii working construction with his brother, Carlos. Mark then returned to Albuquerque to reside and raise his son.

He was preceded in death by his father, George; his nephew, Carlitos and by his great nephew, Tony Boy.

Mark is survived by his loving son, Joshua; his princess, Alyssa; his beloved mother, Rosanna; his step- father, Big Joe; his treasured brothers and sisters, Anna, Lorie and his brother-in-law, Pat, Diane and his Compadre Larry, Joe, Carlos, Chris and wife Holly and Ramon; his dear girlfriend, Debra; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great great nephews and cousins; as well as other family members and friends who loved him very much.

Private family services have taken place.
