Mrs. Marion Isabel Cipriano went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 6, 2023.  She was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 16, 1954.  She moved with her family to Dallas, TX for several years and returned home to Albuquerque, NM with her family.  She was a born-again Christian who loved her family and spent much time praying for them.  She enjoyed spending time at the casino, traveling, target shooting, meeting and talking to people and being Glamorous. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband Rudy Cipriano, son Jeffrey Chavez Sr., sisters Sophie Sanchez and Charlotte Wright.

She is survived by her daughter Joyce Contreras and husband Jose; nine siblings Walter Orona and wife Tammy, Larry Orona and wife Alice, Harold Orona, Christopher Orona, Karen Orona Griego, Lillian Lucero and husband Patrick, Jackie Lucero, Toby Orona and Yvonne Thayer and husband Stewart; 10 grandchildren Joseph Chavez, Jessica Carranza, Juan Carranza, Jeffrey Chavez Jr., Jasmin Becerra and husband Diego, Adrianna Osornio and  husband Alberto, Phillis Contreras, Jose Contreras, Dustin Chavez and Corey Chavez; eight grandchildren Deanna, Athena, Olythias, Arianna, Isaiah, Adrian, Jeffrey and Serenity; and many other family members.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, starting at 8:15-8:55 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Josephs Dr. NW.   Reception will take place after the Mass at the American Legion Post 69, 9000 4 ^Th St. NW. Interment will take place on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at San Carlos Cemetery.
